The first day of Simmer (Summer)

Wow, now the heat is really on
Its summer time and the living is easy!! So the song goes...*hums song in head*
But summer unlike the freshness of spring , with all its new beginnings, brings a different outlook.
It's hot!!! (apologies to my brothers and sisters in the southern hemispheres) and things are
s l o w ......
No one wants to do much of anything, other than sit in front of the fan with a tall glass of iced tea
and try to keep as cool as possible , waiting to catch that little bit of an illusive breeze as it tries to pick up speed to blow through the trees
ahhhhh
Hot simmer days and hotter summer nights.......
